    Alter G

The AlterG is a training and rehabilitation device that reduces body weight by means of an air pressure chamber. Its benefits include joint impact reduction, personalised weight adjustment, running and gait training, injury rehabilitation, improved balance and gait, and data monitoring for accurate follow-up.

  • Bioimpedance

    Bioimpedance

Bioimpedance is a technique to determine body composition in terms of fat, muscle and hydration level. It is very useful for:

    • Body composition analysis: to measure the amount of fat mass, lean mass (muscle and other non-fat tissues) and the level of hydration in the body. This information is useful for assessing a person’s general health and fitness status.
    • Nutrition and weight loss: to customise meal plans and monitor progress in weight loss programmes. It can identify whether a person is losing fat and maintaining suitable muscle mass during their weight loss process.
  • Diamagnetic pump

    Diamagnetic pump

The Periso diamagnetic pump is a physiotherapy device that uses magnetic fields to generate pressure and move fluids without moving parts. It is used to improve circulation, reduce inflammation and promote recovery in various musculoskeletal conditions. It is currently opening new horizons of treatment and recovery in the rehabilitation world by acting on the body internally.

  • Calorimetry

    Calorimetry

Calorimetry is a major tool in nutrition to determine energy expenditure and the amount of calories a person needs in their daily diet. It measures the amount of energy released or absorbed by the body during different metabolic processes, which is essential for the study of nutrition and body weight control. It serves different purposes:

    • Diet planning
    • Weight control
    • Optimisation of sports performance
    • Metabolic efficiency analysis
  • Hyperbaric chamber

    Hyperbaric chamber

A hyperbaric chamber is a medical device that delivers pure oxygen at elevated atmospheric pressures. It is used in medicine to treat a variety of conditions such as non-healing wounds, decompression sickness, burns and carbon monoxide poisoning. During a session, the patient is admitted into the chamber and the atmospheric pressure is gradually increased while they breathe pure oxygen. This promotes healing, reduces inflammation and promotes the formation of new blood vessels.

3D posture, gait, running and movement analysis, electromyography and baropodography. A laboratory with the best equipment for movement and posture analysis. It has 8 optical capture cameras for gait and running analysis on the floor and treadmill with lower body and full body protocols. The laboratory also has surface electromyography and baropodography for the correct analysis of muscle activity associated with walking and running. In addition, these systems help analyse different movements such as the golf swing or movements associated with a racket. Analysis of posture and plantar pressures helps us identify areas of stress and loading.

  • 3D Scan Podoactiva®:

    3D Scan Podoactiva®:

A worldwide patent from Podoactiva to design foot moulds, both physical and virtual. This scanner helps us obtain a virtual image of the foot by laser, stepping through an elastic membrane, with adjustable tension, which achieves an optimal geometry for the subsequent design of the personalised insole. When the mould is obtained directly by placing the foot on the glass, as is the case with other scanners available on the market, both the image of the heel and the forefoot are flattened and the plantar arch is significantly reduced. This exclusive system from Podoactiva allows us to obtain a virtual image with an accuracy of one micron and in a real situation of patient load, registering the soft tissue and simulating the situation inside the shoe. Once the virtual mould has been obtained, Podoactiva’s engineering department designs the insole using specific Podoactiva software which applies finite element calculation concepts (a system exclusive to Podoactiva worldwide) to enable a virtual simulation of the behaviour of the insole in the patient’s foot, taking into account its geometry, weight and dynamics.
